GUIDANCE-COUNSELING DEPARTMENT
Welcome to the Garfield Middle School Guidance-Counseling Department. We are always here to help, guide and most importantly support you and your child's social/emotional and educational success at GMS. The counselors provide services that aid students in solving problems and making adjustments to various situations. The School Counselors stay with the same students for the three years that they are in the GMS. The 8th grade counselor then moves back to grade 6.
