Hello, this is Garfield Principal Richard Rigoglioso. Just a reminder for upcoming events with you:
Tomorrow on Saturday, December 9th, from 8:30 to 11 am …Garfield Middle School will be hosting breakfast with Santa. It's $10 for an all-you-can-eat feast, including eggs, pancakes, home fries, bacon, sausage, juice coffee and more. Kids under 5 eat free. Holiday carolers, and holiday workshop for kids as well as Santa will be here for holiday pictures, so bring the whole family for this fun and festive morning.
Another important announcement regarding a wonderful initiative: the Garfield Middle School Strangers Helping Strangers club. Our GMS students will be collecting sensory toys this Saturday from 1 to 3 pm in front of the middle school.
Please consider contributing to make this initiative a success and bring joy to students in our community.
Finally, don't miss our annual winter concert on December 13th, featuring the world-renowned Garden State Ballet's company performing "The Nutcracker." Following that, our talented students will showcase holiday dances, songs, and music. This incredible event is free for all.
We look forward to seeing you at these festive gatherings. Thank you, and have a wonderful holiday season.
Thank you to all who donated food for our Thanksgiving Food Drive! With these donations, many families were able to have a great Thanksgiving meal with their loved ones. Congratulations to following homerooms for bringing in the most donations:
6th grade - Ms. Espinosa (117)
7th grade - Ms. Notar (204)
8th grade - Mrs. Dunker (312)
Students from these homerooms earned a free dress down day for Monday, December 11th.
