Hamilton Trip 2023

The Garfield Middle School community had an unforgettable experience as 50 of our talented students were given the opportunity to attend the $10.00 Hamilton the Musical Broadway performance, thanks to the generous grant provided by the Hamilton Education Program for all Title 1 schools.

These lucky students were able to attend the show after earning their tickets through rigorous research and hard work in writing their performance pieces. Their dedication paid off; they were thrilled to be part of this fantastic opportunity.

A huge round of applause to Dr. Bugge for spearheading this fantastic initiative and ensuring our students had access to such a wonderful experience.

The excitement didn't end there as our students were treated to an after-party at Applebee's of Garfield, where they were showered with swag and prizes. We want to express our gratitude to Applebee's for hosting our group and making this event extra special.

Special thanks to Proud Images of Garfield for providing excellent print materials and the Cato Institute for overnighting free copies of the Constitution for each student.

It was a truly unforgettable experience, and we are grateful to everyone who made it happen. We hope to "be in the room where it happens" again next year!

Amoroso, Steven A. Tanelli, Joan M. Voss, Ramon M. Hache, and Tracy Zur., for their participation in the "Unity in Bergen" Sticker Contest.
